The Government IT Wiki is an encyclopedia-like reference site collaboratively written by many of its readers. It is a special type of website, called a wiki, that makes collaboration easy. Many people are constantly improving The GovITwiki, making new changes and additions every day. All of these changes are recorded on article histories and recent changes. Inappropriate changes are usually removed quickly, and repeat offenders can be blocked from editing. At this time we have about several regular visitors and editors, and several other casual visitors who occasionally offer edits.
Several of our participants are people who are familiar with the government contracting process for information technology.
How can you help? Don't be afraid to edit — anyone can edit almost any page, and we encourage you to go ahead and try it. Don't worry about making a mistake. that's how we learn, and how we make the GovITwiki site grow. Find something that can be improved or expanded, whether content, grammar or formatting, and make it better. Better yet, adopt a subject area and become the content expert and coach for the expansion of that area.
Just create a user name for yourself and log in (see link at the top right corner of each page).
