GSA Millennia is a Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) program for large system integration and development projects. It offers a broad range of IT support via large, widely recognized industry partners.

It offers nine Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contracts that can be used by all federal agencies. The agreements include IT services, plus ancillary hardware, software and firmware. [1]

Millenia offers:

  • Integrated Solutions with a wide range of IT products and services
  • Fixed-Price and Cost Reimbursement task orders
  • Multiple well-known integrators

Both cost based and fixed price agreements are available.

Service Types Offered

The three main types of IT services are:

  • Communications, including solution definition, design, implementation, and management of digital and integrated or linked communications systems
  • Software Engineering, including managing software from initial conception and planning, through design and development, to conversion, maintenance and improvement
  • Systems Integration, including all activities needed to develop and initiate automated information systems

Millennia GWAC expiration is April 27, 2009. Millennia task orders issued prior to the expiration of the contract can be issued for a period of up to five (5) years.

Millennia Lite

The lite version of Millennia is a multiple award, indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery (MA IDIQ) GWAC providing information technology solutions. Services are offered under four Functional Areas, mirroring the information technology life cycle.

Millennia Lite is worldwide in scope with a base contract period of three years and seven available performance-based extension years through 2010.

Customers have the option of issuing fixed price, labor hour/time and material or cost reimbursement task orders. To promote high quality contractor performance, options are based on contractor performance against the Award Term performance incentive plan. Program ceiling of $20 billion.
